Australian Surface Drilling (WA) started out as a dream in 2019, a vision to bring a more agile, safety-driven drilling service to the mining industry. Since then, ASD has grown into a trusted Drill & Blast and Grade Control contractor, running multiple rigs and a highly skilled crew across the WA Goldfields.
We’re a boutique operator by choice, not by accident. Staying a manageable size means we can be nimble and multi-skilled where larger contractors can’t, adapting to a client’s schedule, ground conditions, and scope without the layers of a big-company bureaucracy getting in the way. What hasn’t changed since day one is the standard we hold ourselves to: safety first and hands-on, ground-level support that’s second to none.
With over 50 years of combined management experience across our owners and directors, and more than 500,000 metres drilled to date, we understand exactly what clients expect from a modern drilling contractor, adaptability, technical capability and consistent performance, shot after shot.
