Overview

ASD runs dedicated grade control rigs so GC programs are never competing with production for a machine. Our GC fleet is made up of track mounted Epiroc D65 crawlers set up with Metzke sampling systems, suited to grade control and shallow exploration drilling in Goldfields ground.

Every machine is maintained in-house to mine specification and backed by 24/7 mechanical field service support. Rigs are available wet hire with our experienced grade control drillers or dry hire for your own crew.

Epiroc D65 Grade Control Rig

The D65 is a track mounted down-the-hole crawler with the depth capacity and air delivery grade control programs need, and enough tramming speed to keep pace with a moving dig plan. Ours are set up with Metzke sample systems, so sample collection, splitting and bagging is built into the rig rather than bolted on beside it.
